Shark
The Shark at a glance
- Lives in: The sea
- Comes for you after: 10 minutes in the water
- At most: 15 in the sea at once
- Leaves after: 40 seconds with nobody near
- Attacks: Grabs a swimmer
Quests it helps with
4 more quests take any animal's kill, so a shark counts toward those too. They are all on the quests page.
Where it swims
The shark lives in the open sea, where the water is at least 15 m deep: about 25 km² of it around the island, all of it on the map. One comes for you once you have spent 10 minutes in the water, or 3 if you are bleeding. It does not bite from a distance: it grabs a swimmer. With nobody near, it leaves again after 40 seconds, and the sea holds no more than 15 at a time.
- The sea, 15 m deep or more (about 25 km² on the map): 61% of the island's sea is this deep
