Brenner
The thing in the bunkers, and you do not fight it. It cannot be killed - the game has thirty five ways for a Razor to die and not one for a Brenner, only stuns, including one for taking an RPG. It sleeps until something wakes it, opens doors to follow you, stamps, swings an arm that hits harder than any animal on the island, and throws flame further than you can back away. If you meet one, leave.

The Brenner at a glance

Bleeding it
Hurt it and it bleeds for 4 seconds, leaving a blood stain on the ground. Hold a Syringe over the stain and extract it, and you walk away with PT-29 Rapid Recovery Serum (Small). It goes into a rage once it has taken 5,000 damage, and the damage it carries fades at 25 a second. A head shot of 300 damage staggers it, and so does 3,000 damage anywhere.
Where it lives
Brenners come from the island's abandoned bunkers, in A1, A3, C4 and D1. No encounter outside them rolls one.
