Where to find one
Nothing places a drone on the island: the game sends them, each one starting 350 m out. The game ships allowing none at all, so a server has to raise Max Allowed Drones before one ever flies.
How it moves
Once it has you, it holds 5.5 m away and 4 m up. A flyby passes 50 m overhead along 300 m. It can blow itself up.
What it leaves you
Cut all the way down, one drone gives 3 Metal Scrap and 1 Bolts. That is 1 cut with any cutting tool, 7 seconds of work with no Survival skill and 3 at Above Advanced, and it pays 50 Survival XP.
Server settings that change it
- Max Allowed Drones (scum.MaxAllowedDrones, 0 by default): Maximum number of drones allowed to be spawned in the world.
