Where to find one

Nothing on the island places one: the dropship that raids player bases drops it beside the base it attacks. The game ships with those raids switched off, so on a server that keeps the default you will not meet one.

How it finds you

A sentry hears you from 90 m, or 60 m when it is in a fight. A wall cuts that to 18 m when it is patrolling or alerted. It spots you from 120 m, or 80 m when it is patrolling.

What it fights with

It mounts a minigun, a flamethrower, a railgun and a grenade launcher. It also carries Tear Gas Grenade (Sentry) and M84 Stun Grenade. Its armour takes only 3% off a collision. It runs hot, 200 degrees at its core and warm out to 5 m. It can call a dropship in.

Server settings that change it

Base Building Attacker Sentry Health Multiplier (scum.BaseBuildingAttackerSentryHealthMultiplier, 1 by default): Set base building attacker sentry max health multiplier.
Enable Dropship Base Building Encounter (scum.EnableDropshipBaseBuildingEncounter, False by default): Enable dropship encounters spawned on powerful player bases.
Base Building Attacker Sentry Damage Multiplier (scum.BaseBuildingAttackerSentryDamageMultiplier, 1 by default): Modifies the damage of base building attacker sentries.
Base Building Attacker Sentry Railgun Damage Multiplier (scum.BaseBuildingAttackerSentryRailgunDamageMultiplier, 1 by default): Modifies the railgun damage of base building attacker sentries.
Base Building Attacker Sentry Grenade Damage Multiplier (scum.BaseBuildingAttackerSentryGrenadeDamageMultiplier, 1 by default): Modifies the grenade damage of base building attacker sentries.
